As a Geospatial Intelligence Director you will have the opportunity to lead complex intelligence functions, build unique organisational responsiveness and capabilities to make a valuable contribution to our Defence and National Security customers. The Director, Content Management (DCM) is responsible for managing the Foundation Domains, content management processes, and web service dissemination of foundation data. The four Foundation Domains (Topographic, Elevation, Human Geography and Controlled Imagery) ensure data holdings for their domain are authoritative, current and structured for use and dissemination. DCM is responsible for ensuring the requirements of the Australian Defence Force, National Security agencies and the Defence geospatial community is met through provision of data and services and the acquisition of commercial data as required.
DCM oversees the creation and publication of geospatial web services to Defence customers, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices. DCM is also responsible for continued business improvement through the capture of business processes into automated, repeatable workflows to meet Quality and reporting requirements.
Experience in the field of geospatial sciences or geospatial intelligence is required.
Professional experience in related analytical or intelligence fields will be highly regarded.
