The AGO is seeking Geospatial Intelligence Managers for the Data Management and Foundation Geospatial Production teams. We are seeking people with the drive, energy and imagination to lead complex functions, build organisational responsiveness and capabilities to make a valuable contribution to Defence and National Security customers. We are seeking to fill critical vacancies in our technical ranks to build the next generation whilst continuing to meet critical national requirements. As a member of the AGO team you will lead and work with remarkable people in order to:
- Mature and evolve data dissemination mechanisms in support of Defence and national security GEOINT end-users
- support the implementation and sustainment of GEOINT data reforms
- Ensuring fit-for-purpose geospatial data is available and accessible to Defence and National Security customers
- Foster innovation by building and mentoring teams for the challenges of today, whilst anticipating the evolving challenges and capabilities of tomorrow.
As a member of the AGO team, you will undertake some of the most unique and stimulating work in Defence and in the National Intelligence Community. To be successful in these roles you will need to have a strong academic record or professional experience in technology disciplines, data sciences along with the ability to think creatively in response to difficult challenges. You will need to be a team player, be organised, patient, methodical and be able to see the big picture. You will value working collaboratively, support your colleagues, achieve objectives and have the personal integrity required to hold a security clearance.
