Job Description
The City of Whitehorse is an exciting, diverse and developing city, located 15km east of Melbourne and covers an area of over 64 square kilometres with a resident population of 145,000 people. We are seeking an adaptable person with an eye for detail to fill a vacancy within the Property and Rates Department. Council’s GIS Development Strategy is well advanced and aims to continue to broaden the use of GIS. It is expected that this role will play an active part in the delivery and customer service of Council’s GIS capabilities through the development, implementation and maintenance of Council’s corporate GIS.
You will require tertiary qualifications in geomatics, surveying, cartography, land information or a related discipline combined with experience in the use ESRI products.
