Looking for an innovative workspace? We are looking for innovative thinker with strong background in asset and spatial data management who is passionate about continuous improvement to join our Strategic Asset Management Department.

About the role

You will be providing technical advice and support in the development and implementation of data management, data processing, and data quality assurance for the Asset Management Information System (AMIS). You will be responsible in creating and applying standardized business procedures, as well as developing systems and process improvement initiatives to enhance our spatial data and asset information.

The Asset Information & Business Specialist play a key role in supporting our strategy 2030 outcomes. Your work in developing a standardise approach to data acquisition, data quality assurance, and data maintenance will create a strong foundation in supporting our asset management analytics capabilities in data driven solutions.

Driving continuous improvement, you will involve in coaching and prepare self-service instruction and training material to embedded business process, data governance and framework across the organisation.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a passion for data management, process governance as well as growth mindset. As someone driven by process and able to reverse engineer problems to identify practical solutions. you will have excellent attention to detail and capable of facilitating change by automating repetitive tasks.

 

You are a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and have the ability to influence and engage others.  Working as part of a team, you can also work autonomously contributing to the overall team goals and can build strong ongoing relationships across all levels of the business and key stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced technical professional, extensive knowledge of asset management technologies and best practice data management principles spatial and asset information.   Experience in Esri, Maximo, Munsys and AutoCAD software is highly desirable. Knowledge in water industry is advantageous. Your practical experience will be underpinned by relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering/Science/IT) with specialisation in data and asset management.
