Help build TerraSeek’s founding technical team
Sydney | Hybrid | Geospatial + AI + Platform + Cloud
TerraSeek is an Australian AI-native geospatial intelligence company transforming satellite imagery, aerial imagery and location data into commercially valuable intelligence across renewable energy, insurance, defence, government and property.
TerraSeek is now building the foundational technical team that will take its products and platform through the next stage of growth.
We’re looking for high-calibre engineers and technical leaders across four core areas:
Principal Geospatial Engineer
Own and build TerraSeek’s geospatial intelligence capability, turning imagery and spatial data into scalable commercial products.
Your experience might include geospatial software engineering, GIS development, satellite/aerial imagery, remote sensing, spatial data pipelines, Python, PostGIS, Esri technologies, APIs and cloud-based geospatial processing.
Principal AI Engineer – Agentic Systems
Help define and build the intelligence architecture behind TerraSeek’s next generation of products.
We’re particularly interested in people who have built production AI systems, with experience potentially spanning LLMs, agentic and multi-agent systems, RAG, computer vision, Python, MLOps, orchestration frameworks and AWS.
Senior Platform Engineer – Backend / Full Stack
Build the applications, APIs and product experiences through which customers access and use TerraSeek intelligence.
Relevant experience may include backend engineering, API development, Python or Node, modern frontend frameworks, databases, system design, cloud-native application development and AI or geospatial products.
Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer – DevSecOps
Build the secure, reliable cloud infrastructure that allows TerraSeek’s geospatial and AI products to operate and scale.
We’re interested in experience across AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, security, monitoring and observability, networking and identity/access management.
The kind of people we’re looking for
Across these appointments, we’re ideally looking for people with approximately 5–15 years’ experience in their specialist area.
The number of years matters less than what you’ve actually built.
We’re particularly interested in people who:
- have taken products or technical capability from build through to production and shipping
- enjoy building rather than maintaining
- have a genuine startup or scale-up mentality
- are hands-on, pragmatic and comfortable operating without layers of structure
- can move between technical detail, product thinking and commercial outcomes
- thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environments
- take ownership and are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
- are curious about AI and how it can change the way products and businesses are built
- want meaningful influence over architecture, product and technical direction.
You don’t necessarily need previous startup experience. You do need the mentality: resourceful, adaptable, accountable and excited by the prospect of building capability from the ground up.
For the senior roles, we’re looking for people who can remain deeply hands-on while also helping shape technical direction.

Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain an Australian Government security clearance are required.
