  • Other duties may include wildlife survey,   hazard reduction burning and assisting in wildfire suppression or other natural disaster relief efforts
  • Career development opportunities and access to self-paced learning through GO1
  • Competitive remuneration and benefits

We would love you to have/be:

  • Qualifications in GIS or substantial equivalent experience in spatial data management and analysis
  • Experience with ESRI products and strong working knowledge of database principles
  • A knack for solving problems and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • The ability to prioritise and plan your work to meet deadlines
  • Robust communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to train and support others in data management systems
  • Knowledge of forestry management principles is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with ESRI software (including layerfiles, database connections and types)
  • Familiarity with field-based data collection and mobile GIS platforms
  • An understanding of forest operations, fire management, or land protection activities

Why Join Us?
