As our success and growth continues across Australia, an opportunity has arisen for a proven GIS professional to join and lead our team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of different projects for a growing client base including government and private sector work.
The Role
The role will use your extensive GIS management experience to support Kleinfelder’s environmental management and compliance, contaminated land and ecology business units.
• Provide leadership of the GIS team to ensure maximum functionality both internally and externally to our broad range of clients
• Support experienced environmental professionals by ensuring spatial data field collection and management, spatial analyses and results reporting, and map production requirements are met.
• Develop effective and efficient workflows to support and empower the team to deliver quality outcomes for our clients.
• Lead the development of strategic and technological innovation in GIS and spatial data management, to further integrate with the wider Kleinfelder environmental team and improve overall technical output scope and quality.
This role is offered as a full-time position and offers flexible work arrangements for the right candidate.
About you
We are seeking talented and curious professionals who want to advance their career with a global environmental consultancy. You will bring:
• Minimum 5 years of GIS experience using ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro and ArcOnline
• Preferable consulting experience within contaminated land and ecology.
• Proven record of managing a dynamic workload in order to meet stakeholder needs and expectations
• The drive and commitment to succeed and to be a strong contributor to the growth and success of Kleinfelder in Australia.
Additionally, the following experience will be highly regarded:
• 3D data management and analysis
• Experience with ArcGIS Web Maps, Dashboards and 3D Web Scenes
• Python Programming
• gINT
• EQuIS
• Surfer
• Other data management and data visualization programs (Leapfrog, Power BI, etc)
