As the Manager Geospatial Data Management you will provide leadership and key advice on the capture, maintenance and application of geospatial data including assessment of emerging technologies and development of specifications to deliver timely, economically sustainable, multi-agency data acquisition programs. This position also represents the Northern Territory on relevant national geospatial technical committees.

We are seeking an experienced industry professional to lead the transformation of geospatial data acquisition and management to sustain existing and promote emerging innovative geospatial data use across government and the private sector using contemporary and open platforms.

Applicants will hold formal qualifications or relevant experience in geospatial information, surveying and/or land information as well as demonstrated knowledge and operational experience in the acquisition and management of geospatial data in an enterprise environment. Experience with Hexagon ImageStation, QGIS, FME and Oracle Spatial will be highly regarded.
